Globe and Mail, 26 novembre 2007 - Faisant suite à l'article du blogue de Stéphane, le journal Globe and mail révèle que « Corporate disclosure is improving ».

Abstract : When it comes to corporate governance — the way companies are supervised by their boards of directors — the rapid pace of change of recent years appears to be slowing in many respects. But one area where there continues to be dramatic reform is in disclosure practices. A new Report on Business review of governance trends reveals Canadian companies are giving shareholders a growing volume of information about their executive compensation and their boards of directors. The Globe's Janet McFarland reported Monday that many of the disclosure changes are related to the amount of detail being disclosed about compensation for executives and directors — a reform being championed by powerful shareholder activists.
